Some people are in excellent health and fitness but still have a disproportionate figure due to excess fat in some parts of the body. Liposculpture works the same as liposuction, through a cannula that extracts fat but in this case, the figure of the person’s body is modeled.
Liposuction is not a substitute for weight loss, it is a method that removes localized fat that does not respond to diet or exercise. The procedure consists of making small incisions in the area to be treated, inserting a tube whose lumen is empty (called a cannula), which, when manipulated, destroys the fat and sucks it out, modeling the specific area.
The anesthesia used is local with sedation. This procedure lasts approximately 3 hours. In some cases, it stays overnight under the care of the Nova Esthetics team. If you are a foreigner, you must stay in the country for at least 7 days after the surgery.
