Also known as mammoplasty of reduction, is a procedure used to remove excess fat, tissue and skin from the breasts. If you have large breasts, you might choose to have breast reduction surgery to ease discomfort or to achieve a breast size proportionate to your body.
Local anesthesia and sedation are used. The duration of the surgery depends on each patient, since it can be a single breast or both. Recovery takes approximately 10 days. If the patient is a foreigner, she must stay 15 days after the surgery in the country.
